Where the code goes in Wix

Choose Wix when you publish in RevuKit and the snippet comes ready for Wix. Then it is three menus deep:

    Open the page in the Editor

    Homepage, a service page, wherever customers decide. Wix Studio uses the same menus.

    Add an Embed HTML element

    Add Elements (+), then Embed Code, then Embed HTML. A grey box lands on the page.

    Paste and update

    Click Enter Code, paste your RevuKit line and press Update. The reviews appear inside the box.

    Size it, then publish

    Drag the box’s corners until nothing is cut off, check the mobile view, then Publish.

Before you publish

Four things worth knowing on Wix

  • The box sets the sizeEmbed HTML shows your widget in a frame of the size you draw. If reviews look cut off, the box is too small: drag it taller.
  • Mobile has its own layoutWix keeps a separate mobile layout. Switch to the mobile view in the Editor and size the box there too.
  • Site-wide code needs PremiumSettings → Custom Code loads code on every page, but Wix only offers it on Premium plans with a connected domain.
  • Check the published siteCustom Code doesn’t run in the Editor preview. Publish, then look at the live page to see it working.

Does this work with Wix Studio?
Yes. Wix Studio has the same Add Elements, Embed Code, Embed HTML path, and the same RevuKit line works in both.
Why does my review widget look cut off on Wix?
Embed HTML elements show their content in a fixed-size frame. Drag the element taller (and check the mobile layout separately) until the whole widget fits.
Can I show Google reviews on every page of my Wix site?
Yes, either by adding the Embed HTML element to a section that appears on every page, or with Settings → Custom Code, which Wix offers on Premium plans with a connected domain.
Do I need to republish Wix when I get new reviews?
No. The widget loads your reviews from RevuKit each time, so new ones appear without touching Wix. Paid plans refresh every 24 hours, the Free plan every 30 days.
Is RevuKit a Wix App Market app?
No, and you don’t need one. It is a single line of code in Wix’s own Embed HTML element, so there is nothing to install or give permissions to.
