How the Google review QR code generator works

The generator searches public business listings and builds Google’s direct write-a-review URL from the selected Place ID. That URL is encoded into the QR image. RevuKit does not insert a tracking or redirect link between the scan and Google.

Choose PNG when you need a quick image for a document, email, or small sign. Choose SVG for a print shop or design tool because the code stays sharp at any size. The printable-sign download adds a headline, scan instruction, generous white space, and a large QR code to an editable SVG canvas.

Always scan the final physical print before distributing it. A code that works on screen can become harder to read after a printer reduces it, crops the quiet zone, lowers contrast, or places it behind reflective material.

Find the exact location

Select the correct branch so every scan opens the right Google review form.

Keep contrast high

A dark foreground, light background, and clear quiet zone produce the most reliable scan.

Print the useful version

Download the counter-sign SVG instead of handing a designer a naked QR square.

Ask at the right moment

Where a review QR code actually works

Put the code at the end of a genuine customer experience, close enough to the moment that the details are still fresh. The prompt should ask for an honest review, not a five-star review.

A small counter sign beside the payment terminal
A table card included with the final bill
A service-completion card left by a technician
A printed invoice or receipt with a plain-text backup link
An appointment follow-up email or SMS sent to every customer
A package insert for a completed, verified purchase

Do not offer a prize, discount, free product, or other benefit in exchange for a review. Do not show the QR code only to customers you expect to be happy. The durable process is simple: use the same neutral request for every eligible customer.

Google review QR code FAQ

How do I create a QR code for Google reviews?

Search for your business in the generator, select the correct location, customize the QR code, and download it as PNG, SVG, or a printable counter sign. Scanning it opens the Google review form for that business.

Is the Google review QR code free?

Yes. The generator is free and requires no RevuKit account. PNG and SVG downloads do not expire because the QR code points directly to the Google review URL rather than a RevuKit redirect.

Where should I display a Google review QR code?

Use it where a customer has just completed a real experience: a receipt, checkout counter, table card, appointment follow-up, invoice, or service completion card. Avoid placing it where people who were not customers can scan it in bulk.

Can I offer a discount for scanning the QR code and leaving a review?

Do not offer discounts, gifts, contest entries, or other incentives in exchange for a Google review. Ask every eligible customer for honest feedback without requiring a positive rating.

What size should a printed review QR code be?

For close-range scanning, make the QR code at least 25 to 30 mm wide and test the final print with several phones. Larger signs need a larger code. Keep strong contrast and preserve the empty quiet zone around it.
